Objectives:

In the framework of the Hungarian stage of the international chess championship series a possibility is offered for the young chess players to participate in an international competition environment in order to develop and maintain good sport-friendship and cooperation between the sports youth of the ‘Countries of Visegrad Agreement’, to spend a memorable weekend in Visegrad, with the opportunity of trying the Summer Bob, the beach of Lepence and visiting the Visegrad castle or watching a castle-parade as well.

Participants:

youth players, entering the competition and accepted by the organizers. Non-youth players are also accepted for the competition. The players of the team-championship cannot play in the OPEN, and the participants of the OPEN cannot play in the team championship.
Entry fee: Born after 31.12.1983. Born before 01.01.1984.
For participants who sent in his name in written form and was accepted. 1 300 HUF 1 800 HUF
Who entering the tournament only on the spot pays surcharge of 1000 HUF.
Who pays the fee before 30.04.2005, receives a preference of 200 HUF.

Accommodation and board:

HUNGARO-REISEN Travel Agency - Tel: +3626398112 – gives accommodation, if your entry arrives in time. There re a lot of tourist-hostels in the town (cheaper), and there are also a lot of private rooms and flats to rent. Meal is at the former ELTE holiday-centre. Lunch and/or dinner, cca. 700 HUF/portion can be ordered from the organizers. There will be a buffet at the spot, and there are also some restaurants in the town.

Deciding the places:

1. Acquired points, 2. Best final result (order) of groups, 3. Assignment by the team leader, or the serial number of chess board.
Protestation can be made to the referees for 5 minutes after the round. Protestation fee: 10,000 HUF, which will be given back in case of justified protestation. The decision shall be made first by the referee, and if necessary next by the elected jury.

Smoking is prohibited in the hall.

Both the participants and the accompanying should switch off the mobile phones in the hall.
